Thanks for blogging this image!<br /><br />As for the mirror effect, two mirrors were erected before the choir of Notre-Dame, slightly off center and tilted, so that the organ at the end of the nave could be seen while looking towards the apse.<br /><br />I don't really know what was the message of this work of art, but it sure was a nice effect.<br /><br />I arrived at Notre-Dame shortly before 3 am. There weren't so many people inside. The lights were dim, but subtly enhanced the architecture. What struck me was the silence: people didn't talk, and most of them were sitting on the chairs in the nave, quietly watching the walls...Groumehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/groumenoreply@blogger.com
