What a great shot of the window at Angelina's! Makes my stomach grumble, but then I remember the mouse (and my stomach grumbles again, for other reasons). That said, I think I'm over it and will be back for hot chocolate (avec chantilly) and treats again, the next time I'm in Paris.

I just realized. I didn't even manage to pass by the Rouge on my recent (and extended stay, even) visit to Paris. How did that happen? And why didn't I take more luscious Lensbaby shots (or just night shots, even), like this one?
Well, there's always next time. I guess. Right?

Well, it appears that next spring will be au Canada (Montréal and Québec City, wethinks), rather than Greece. My would-be Greek Island-hopping gal pals are understandably put off by the indefinite volcanic disruptions now daunting European air travel. Truth be told, I'm happy to give Europe a year to sort out how it's going to tackle this ongoing issue before I venture over yonder again.
A bilingual vacances to my neighbor up north sounds great though. What's not to love about Canada, and Québec in particular? Especially if the fleurs are this fantastique come printemps 2011.

With springtime in Paris now behind me, I am already looking forward to Greece (2011). Planning is half the fun, and more than half of that enjoyment is derived from thumbing (or clicking) through other people's pictures. Like this lovely shot of Oia on the impossibly dreamy island of Santorini.

I had really hoped to meet this handsome young man (granted he could be a she, for all I know) on my recent trip to Paris (and Père Lachaise cemetery), but our paths, sadly, never crossed.

Dagnabbit. That pesky volcano in Iceland jiggered my travel plans. Yours, too? Do tell (if you are so inclined)! That said, it certainly did make for some dramatic photo opportunities.

One of these years, I would love to fête it up at the annual Citrus Festival in Menton, on the French Riviera. An aesthetically and aromatically mind-blowing attraction, it looks nothing short of delicious!

Two things I can never get enough of when I'm in Paris: pain and pastries from Paul, and flavorful fallafels for an easy - cheap, and delicious! - lunch or dinner from L'As du Fallafel. Well, three things maybe. Who can stop at just one visit to Ladurée? And, four: Or one sitting of hot chocolate at Angelina's? Okay. Maybe one cup o' cocoa at Angie's is more than enough on a short visit. I do indeed drink the whole cup - with the aid of many a shot de l'eau - and it takes me a good week to recover from the quick kick and subsequent coma-inducing crash. Angie's cocoa is no joke!
T-minus 69 days and counting until I next chow down on these must-eat Parisian treats.
In the meantime, I'm noshing on Paris à la the Little Brown Pen. You should try it. It's magnifique!
