With springtime in Paris now behind me, I am already looking forward to Greece (2011). Planning is half the fun, and more than half of that enjoyment is derived from thumbing (or clicking) through other people's pictures. Like this lovely shot of Oia on the impossibly dreamy island of Santorini.
Your comments on this image are welcome, and encouraged! And a question for the photographer - Kayla Clements Travel - if s/he is so inclined: Is there anything special about this moment, day, trip, or place beyond what you've shared on Flickr that you'd like to add or comment on here? Along with other vivaca visitors, I would love to know more!

Thanks for featuring my photo! Santorini is truly an amazingly beautiful place. I traveled Europe for 4 months and it was by far, one of my favorites. In this specific photo, you can see the pathway in which I hiked up to get to the top of the city of Oia. I was on a boat tour and they dropped us off at the bottom saying we only had a small hike to the top. That small hike was no small hike at all. We were all out of breath by the time we reached the top. It offered one of the most amazing views of the island though!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time in Greece, I bet you will love it!
Wow. Four months traveling Europe? Sounds amazing. I hope to take a trip like that, one day. For now, I'll have to settle for two+ weeks hopping Greek Isles next spring (that's the plan, anyway).
ReplyDeleteWell, though the hike was bigger than small, I'm glad you made it to the end, or to the top. The view looks incredible and you got a lovely shot. Thank you for sharing your Santorini scenics on Flickr, and allowing me to blog one of your gorgeous images here.
