I'm certain I never ventured down this set of stairs at Sacre Coeur before. What a different view. Something to see, next time. I wonder what's down there!

Along with other vivaca visitors, I would love to know more!

Day five: Alas, I'm under the weather. So for the next few days I'll just be posting photos without commentary. That shouldn't stop you from commenting though!

J'adore cette photo! The color is wonderful, and how did I miss this picture perfect little street, restaurant, and view of Sacre Coeur in 2005 when I was last in the 'hood; wandering around looking for just such an idyllic Parisian place to park it for a while and people watch? Ah well. Thank god for Flickr and photos like this. Next time.

The many moods of Montmartre. All marvelous. One of my favorite pockets of Paris. Love the colors in this trio of Amelie's Paris. Can't wait to return. In the meantime, I keep dreaming.

What is there to say, really, about this photo? There aren't words. It's sheer, dreamy-delicious brilliance. I adore it and I wish to be transported there now. In lieu of teletransportation, I'll settle for studying it intermittently throughout the day. Maybe that way it'll be featured as the backdrop for a night of sweet dreams to match those it afforded me during the day. Or so j'espère.

I love the dusty dreamy colors and timeless quality of this photo. It could be 1968 or 2008. The mood is magnifique. Beautiful bleu, blanc, and rouge, from the sky to the cloud-colored cathedral to the lady in red. Très français, no?
