Last night I caught a half-hour program on "The 13 Wonders of Spain" where this particular installment was all about Tarragona. I've been to Tarragona, and I didn't like it. And after seeing this show about it, I can't figure out why I didn't like it! I think it was my fault. I went on a day trip from Barcelona and didn't know a thing about the city or its history and I both went without a map and didn't pick one up. I literally just wandered around, which can sometimes be a fine way to discover a place, but clearly it wasn't right for my visit to Tarragona on that particular trip. I shall return. It looks, on second viewing, amazing.
Your comments on this image are welcome, and encouraged! And a question for the photographer - Charlie Manton - photo - if s/he is so inclined: Is there anything special about this moment, day, trip, or place beyond what you've shared on Flickr that you'd like to add or comment on here? Along with other vivaca visitors, I would love to know more!
