ReplyDeleteMy wife and I had a very busy year, but we finally managed to get a week's holiday in late September. We thought we'd booked into the Hotel du Lac in Malcesine, where this picture was taken, but we'd actually booked the Hotel du Lac in Gardonne Rivieria instead. The start of the week was horrid, but as time went by the weather got warmer and sunnier. On the day we took this, we were in Malcesine for the whole day - and went up to the top of the tower and saw a wedding taking place in this very castle! The lake was truly beautiful, and it's definitely somewhere we'll be going back to...
