A little something sweet, perhaps? From the fantastic folks at Ladurée? I can't think of anything more delightful, right now. In fact, I feel a sweet-tooth streak coming on. Sugar high!

And a question for the photographer - Esthy & Lulla - if s/he is so inclined: Is there anything special about this moment, day, trip, or place beyond what you've shared on Flickr that you'd like to add or comment on here? Along with other vivaca visitors, I would love to know more!

this looks like Ispahan -- that rose-berry-lychee flavor I was trying to tell you about months ago. But that's a Pierre Hermé signature, so I'm not sure what it's doing at Laudrée :D
ReplyDelete(oh. I just found on my friend Pim's blog: "He created it while the executive chef at Ladurée, so the shop retains the rights to make and sell Ispahan.") See, the interwebs do know all.
Très intéressant! I did not know that Ispahan - which I learned about from you - is a Pierre Hermé sig. Too bad for Hermé that Laudrée owns the rights to that delight, eh? Given how hugely cute and popular it is. He could have been riche(er)!
ReplyDeleteI think by some miracle of French law (or largesse on the part of Laudrée), he also gets to sell it at his own patisserie. Rich, indeed.
