Summer in Sardinia. Sea, sun, and sabbia. On a cold September morning in San Francisco, these sensational photos transport me and provide warm thoughts to combat my damp and foggy reality. It's a nice reminder that the sun is shining elsewhere and that it's summer - somewhere, and some lucky soul is enjoying an idyllic day at the beach while I'm here in the dead of fall; typing away, dreaming about it.
Your comments on this image are welcome, and encouraged! And a question for the photographers - guzi4real and deja - if they are so inclined: Is there anything special about this moment, day, trip, or place beyond what you've shared on Flickr that you'd like to add or comment on here? Along with other vivaca visitors, I would love to know more!

Wow, thank you for adding my picture ! You want to know if there is something that makes this place special...
ReplyDeleteWell, I was told that once Sardinia gets you it will never let you go. And indeed, it is like that. I can't exactly describe why, it might be the nice people or the beautiful beaches or the sea.
In the case of this particular picture the special moment was when we saw this beautiful bay. You can only get to this bay by hiking down in about one and a half hours. The reward for the hike is that beautiful beach. An awesome moment to see the clear blue water !
